Preparing For Baby

The first few months of life are precious. Preparing for them will help foster a healthy relationship for mom, dad, grandparents, nanny, and baby. This class is for anyone wanting to prepare for a new baby in their lives.

RIE® parenting lends a hand to understanding your baby, creating a mindset of parenting, and knowing what to expect. This class will help you prioritize your time and energy, as well as build a sense of comfort and confidence in parenting. It will help you establish healthy routines and strategies from the beginning of life and create trust between you and your baby.

• What crying means and how to respond
• Setting up the baby’s room
• Sleep for baby and parents
• Bathing
• Feeding
• Diapering
• Working with baby’s biological rhythms
• “Quality” time together
• Using observation to guide your decisions
